It was October of 1985 when I walked with a friend of mine from Pray Harold to the old library at Eastern Michigan University. There, I was introduced to this beautiful freshman girl from Curacao and I fell in love with her. It was like the Greek God Eros aimed his bow and took a quick yet painfully accurate shot at me. To my bad fortune he missed her.... I did everything to impress her. She just "wanted to be friends" ... Obviously she didn't share my mom's belief that I was the best-looking boy at Eastern Michigan University! I tried everything, I even bought all Julio Iglesias and Air Supply records. Nothing seemed to work. "Just Friends". On Valentines Day of 1986 had the most brilliant idea. I would make a heart shaped pizza put pesto, shrimp and write "I Love You" with goat cheese! So there I was, knocking at her apartment door, armed with my two strongest weapons, my cooking and my humor, feeling like my Greek ancestors in the Trojan Horse trying to conquer her heart..."Pizza delivery" I shouted. There she was! More beautiful than ever. She opened the door and the rest is Greek history! She took this picture and then she kissed me... Then, I had to leave because I had five more heart shaped pizzas to deliver...! (Just Kidding, Honey!). In 1990 Nathalie and I graduateStd from Eastern and in 1997 we bought the Tower Inn, where we had our first date. We work side by side ever since and we live in Ypsilanti with our two wonderful kids. Our food is made with tons love and we are trying to win your hearts as well, every day. Thank You and Enjoy!
